What you'll get

  • Your forms will be available at or <subdomain> You can choose any subdomain.

  • Fillout automatically provisions an SSL certificate for you, to ensure your forms stay secure 🔒.

1. Connect your domain

Go to the Custom Domains section of your account.

Enter your domain. You can choose to add:

  • Only a domain name, e.g. to have your forms available at

  • A subdomain, like or

2. Follow the instructions to add a DNS record to your domain provider

a. Log in to your domain provider, like Godaddy, Cloudflare, NameCheap, Netlify or wherever you bought your domain.

b. Add the CNAME record as instructed in the Fillout dashboard.

c. Wait until the DNS records are verified (this can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours). Click "refresh" in Fillout to check if your domain is connected yet.

d. You'll know the setup is complete once you see a green checkmark (as below).

3. That's it!

All your forms will be automatically available on your domain name. The "share" links are updated automatically to reflect this.
